The Atlantic Appaloosa Horse Club was created in the early months of 2003.  A group of breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts gathered together to form a group that would not only promote Appaloosas registered with the ApHCC (Canadian) but also with the ApHC (USA).  Despite the large amount of dual registered horses in the Atlantic Region, there were no venues this side of the border where exhibitors could showcase their hard work and fine horses.  Since its inception in 2003 our group has grown in number and expanded our  base of support.  We encourage all those interested in horses, not only Appaloosas to become involved in our group.  Our many different fundraising events including  dances, variety shows, and yard sales not only allow us to raise money but provide a great opportunity for to meet new people while promoting our beloved spotted horses.

We offer to our members a quarterly newsletters as well as an updated website for those interested.  We host annually an awards banquet to honor those that competed in our shows as well as passing out our top point earners for the year.
